The Job:

Tango Card is looking for a Product Designer to help us make rewards even easier to send and more awesome to receive. In this role, you will join a team of enthusiastic designers and Product Managers who simplify complex problems and implement innovative solutions to empower our customers and users. This role will require you to collaborate with technical, customer-facing, and back-office stakeholders, as well as interact directly with customers when needed to ensure that your designs deliver results. You will have ample opportunity to develop your design chops in a highly self-directed environment.

As a Product/UX Designer at Tango Card, you’ll:

  • Drive design from initial concept through to polished deliverable in a highly collaborative environment. This includes working closely with your product design colleagues to implement human-centered design methodologies.
  • Follow a user-centered design process to produce sketches, workflow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, design guidelines, and style guides.
  • Specialize in one of our core product areas and work closely with engineers and product managers to define the long-term strategy, short-term tactics, and success metrics for that product.
  • Incorporate user research findings to fine-tune designs and drive business goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Design, Creative, Marketing, and Engineering to develop and expand design systems and style guides.

Our ideal Product Designer at Tango Card will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a design-related field (e.g., HCI, HCDE, Graphic Design, Informatics, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience in product design, user experience design, or related field
  • Portfolio of work showcasing strong interaction design principles, commitment to human-centered design, and polished design work.
  • Strong user experience, visual design, communication, and analytical skills.
  • A natural systems thinker who is able to identify design patterns and extend these patterns into a shared library.
  • Fluency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar applications.

What you'll get from us:

  • Competitive compensation package (money isn’t everything, but it helps)
  • Medical, Dental and Vision benefits (100% employer paid premium)
  • Unlimited PTO and a generous holiday schedule
  • 401(k) matching and equity opportunities, 401(k) 100% match of up to 6%
  • Home-Office grant for ensuring a great WFH environment during social distancing measures
  • Awarding winning culture that fosters autonomy, creativity, inclusion, transparency, and ownership
  • Continued education and self-growth opportunities through Udemy
  • Virtual-Fitness Benefits through Classpass
  • Dog-Friendly offices
