The Role

As the Senior Art Director, you will tell our brand story in fresh and compelling ways to promote growth on a global scale. Reporting to our Creative Director, you will oversee concept development and the visual craft of our brand, marketing and advertising materials across all customer touch points. You will excel as a conceptual thinker who is equal parts Art Director and Brand Designer. This is an opportunity for you to apply your impeccable aesthetic eye across a variety of campaigns including TV, video, motion, paid social and shape Remitly's brand guidelines.

You are known for your collaboration and have a strong understanding of marketing channels, best practices, formats and solid expertise in developing strong marketing creative across these channels.

You Will

• Concept and develop consumer-facing campaigns including TV, video, motion and paid social that are insight-driven, on brand, and driving results
• Own Remitly's visual aesthetic through the development of our brand guidelines
• Work with Creative Leadership to ensure brand look and feel is cohesive, consistent, and implemented across all channels
• Work with copywriters and designers, always pushing for the best creative solutions
• You will ensure all consumer-facing creative is insight-driven, on brand, and driving results
• You will present creative to internal stakeholders, sharing reasoning or data on your points of view
• You will work with Project Management to ensure creative deliverables are met
• Research and keep a pulse on trends, issues, and topics that matter most to Remitly's key audiences around the world
• Work with external partners when needed, providing constructive feedback

You Have

• You have 8+ years of experience with an in-house marketing team or advertising agency
• You have consumer and digital brand experience with expertise in best practices for mobile first marketing
• You have sensitivity and a desire to understand various cultures and trends
• You have cultivated instincts for balancing emotional and results-driven creative work
• A/B testing and validation experience
• Passion for people, communication, marketing, and storytelling
