The Position

You:

  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in graphic/interactive design, styles and layout techniques
  • Proven experience executing demand generation assignments from creative conception to production
  • Skilled at designing creative assets that support an integrated campaign throughout the entire buyer/customer journey
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Inside Agency Model
  • Customer-centric with comfort working directly with customer executives, Apptio employees, and partners at a global scale
  • Articulate communicator
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated, innovative yet pragmatic and organized without being mechanical
  • Able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Able to work within specified deadlines to complete projects on time

  • Flexible on travel ranging from one trip per quarter up to one trip per month


Us: You will work in the Global Creative Services team under the Global Creative Team Lead. What we want you to do

Manage the pre-production, production, and post-production activities required to create impactful Apptio assets.

  • Subject Matter Expert on graphic/interactive design within creative services team
    • Work to understand our addressable market and improve how visual design effectively communicates our value proposition
    • Manage all assigned design projects from conception to delivery
    • Incorporate current design trends and best practices
    • Generate ideas to portray design concepts for integrated campaigns that demonstrate how creative is consistent but not repetitive across channels and throughout the buyer and customer lifecycles
    • Stay current with industry developments and tools
  • Pre-Production
    • Convert creative briefs into visual designs by determining the most impactful way to deliver against business goals balancing creative strategy with generating business results
    • Develop a workback plan that sequences the key activity milestones required to hit asset delivery date
    • Proactively communicate expectations of stakeholders, other design team members and outside agency resources
  • Production
    • Design original pieces following brand and digital guidelines
    • Optimize existing pieces to integrate effectively into campaign or other demand generation program
    • Drive creative reviews with stakeholders and balance brand, design and stakeholder requests
    • Meet or exceed each milestone date within agreed upon workback schedule
    • Liaison between key stakeholders and other design team members to ensure deadlines are met
    • QA all final designs to ensure quality and brand /integrated campaign adherence
  • Post-Production
    • Understand how to publish to and manage finished assets within a global Digital Asset Management System
    • Reengage as requested by campaign, program or channel owners to optimize existing assets

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in graphic arts, design or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design in both print and digital platforms
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Adobe Digital Publishing)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work within Workflow tools such as WorkFront
  • Strong typographic, color theory, and composition skills in both digital and print
  • Experience creating Infographics and Mainstage Event Presentations and Booth Creative
  • Conceptual thinker yet balance with ability to take direction and meet tight deadlines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience within SaaS Business to Business (B2B) firms
  • Design experience working within Experience Platforms such as Adobe AE, Sitecore, Epi-Server Experience Manager or equivalent MarTech solution
  • Experience is supporting personalization within Account Based Marketing Programs
  • Co-branding and partner design experience
  • Ability to align design to storytelling within an integrated campaign and or throughout the customer journey
