Job Description

The Senior Manager, Program Design and Engagement is responsible for shaping and executing strategies designed to nudge simple behaviors and influence more complex behaviors in a continuous manner. Using the power of the Accolade Cloud Platform, our fully-integrated, inbound and outbound touch points, and sophisticated Activate architecture, this position will be at the center of designing new ways to improve member health and drive adoption of complex health benefits and healthcare ecosystem services.

A day in the life…

  • Partner and collaborate with Activate team members, Clinical teams, Customer Partnerships, and other Product and Technology stakeholders, as well as directly with the customer, as a key contributor to our customers success
  •  In partnership with executive leadership, leverages data insights to develop an overall engagement strategy to optimize the successful personalized engagement campaigns of Accolade’s current customers, while predicting needs for the future
  • Lead the design and development of workflows, personalized messaging, sequencing and prioritization of interaction, and user-experiences to influence decisions and support behavior change
  • Develop and manage programmatic clinical and awareness campaign offerings that will run across the Accolade book of business
  • Oversee programs that drive targeted levels of inbound contacts from first-time callers and from members of key segments of interest (e.g. ER use, biometric results, newly diagnosed)
  • Track and analyze program results; implement testing to continually learn and improve
  • Effectively communicates findings and proposed recommendations from these analyses to relevant Sr/Executive Leadership
  • Stay up-to-date on consumer and health-related marketing best practices, behavioral economics, and health behavior research
  • Utilize exceptional project management skills to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget


Qualifications

What we are looking for…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Allied Health, Health Communications, Behavior Economics, or Health Promotion or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience working in healthcare, digital health, or consulting-related to engagement, behavioral economics, and/or health-related program design
  • A growth mindset – Always making improvements, trying new things, rolling with changes, failing fast, and a can-do attitude
  • Proven ability to roll up your sleeves and make a contribution quickly; adaptive to changing array of priorities
  • Knowledge of behavior change best practices and ways to use omni-channel approaches to drive personalized experiences to targeted individuals
  • Strong writer, familiar with creating content for the web, email, social media and print – Form factoring a paper to an email, landing page, etc.
  • Understanding of program conversion, results and ROI
  • Trusted adviser who is adept at building relationships and influencing decisions
  • Superior planning, organization, problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
