Our design team is helping Expedia Group reinvent the next-generation of customer service by innovating on how our travelers are supported before, during, and after their trips.

We’re building a brand-new customer platform that seeks to simplify complex business rules and processes across the industry and supports a large network of customers and partners.

What you will do

  • Embody Expedia Group's Guiding Principles
  • Lead all aspects of a group of designers and provide personnel leadership across multiple products
  • Synthesize complex, and often ambiguous problems and business requirements into simple and usable features in a fast-paced, agile development environment
  • Get to know our target customers by leading and participating in research sessions
  • Help the team translate research into functional design vision; share the design vision to our broader product team
  • Support designers on their career growth guidance and mentorship
  • Uphold and maintain a high standard and consistency for our products and experiences

Who you are

  • Ten+ years professional experience as a product designer with at least 3 years with direct experience building multidisciplinary design teams
  • An accomplished designer and design lead with a portfolio that demonstrates your past efforts
  • A constant advocate for design standards and quality, having examples of your achievements you can share
  • Calculates data and customer feedback to make decisions and get results
  • History of leading research and generating insights that yielded business results
  • An excellent communicator with proven presentation and social skills and ability to analytically support your design decisions
  • A background in design and a masters+ in design or business
