We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a passion for designing stunning creative, who possesses the combination of experience, talent, and instinct that drives them to deliver captivating experiences at every turn. We need a design wizard that has an uncanny knack for making big ideas look simple. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help lead the creative direction for the company, working on a world-class centralized design team, while partnering with marketing, sales, and account development teams to create compelling visual experiences that help transform the way millions of people work. 

Responsibilities 

  • Translate marketing plans, consumer needs and technical capabilities into designs that are visually exciting, easy to use, and emotionally engaging across print and digital mediums
  • Take complex product concepts and data and bring them to life simply and beautifully through visual storytelling — be that images, illustration, animation or infographics
  • Conceptualize and craft engaging brand experiences that push Highspot’s brand to the next level
  • Participate in and help drive creative brainstorm sessions and ideation exercises
  • Establish and maintain consistency of brand assets (logos, fonts, color palettes, tone of voice, key messaging, taglines and more) across all marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to help define and execute concept direction that is both highly creative and meets the project requirements
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership in order to influence project direction 
  • Defend conceptual direction while also being able to listen to and synthesize other opinions, being open to changing direction should timeline / constraints dictate
  • Create a world class visual identity system along with accompanying brand guidelines that can be shared with partners

Qualifications

  • Degree in human computer interaction, interaction design, visual design, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years as a professional creative 
  • Experience in digital marketing including, web, mobile, social and emerging platforms
  • Proven ability to develop big ideas and campaign creative
  • Patient, understanding, and ego-free
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and can manage multiple projects under minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet important deadlines
  • A keen eye for design and knowledge of the latest visual trends
  • Strong illustration skills, motion graphics/animation experience is a plus
  • Demonstrable fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or equivalent design tool
  • Exceptional portfolio of work spanning multiple projects

Location

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
