About the Role:
In this role, you will be focusing on our educator dashboard, for both our math & literacy products, which provides data insights into how students are growing and learning. As a UX Designer at DreamBox Learning, you will work with a team of Engineering, Product Management, Scrum Masters, UX, and even more cross-team collaborators to help define and design new features and reports for admins and educators.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Gaining a thorough understanding of our educator experience to understand how educators view their student data at an aggregate level down to a specific student.
- Working on the information architecture and navigation of a growing and evolving dashboard experience.
- Collaborating on user research to collect quantitative and qualitative data that informs dashboard features and reports.
- Applying our current style guide to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual mockups for projects that help to demystify our adaptive math and literacy curriculum.
- Supporting Engineering with assets and design specs.
- Working with user research and product partners to identify themes and opportunities based on our NPS and product feedback to inform our product roadmap.
- Attending engineering stand-ups as the sole UX rep, actively participating in the identification and resolution of bugs before they release to production.
About You:
- 3+ years of professional experience designing complex, data-driven desktop and touch solutions with your design tool of choice
- Experience with designing dashboards of data and visualizations for desktop, tablet, and familiarity with mobile
- Experience working with and/or creating style guides and design systems
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Proficient in Figma and Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- The ability to communicate cross-team the importance of the problem being solved through design by their sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Experience building sites with HTML and CSS a plus
- Legally authorized to work in the US

Length of contract: 6+ months
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected contract rate for this position is $33.48 - 46.48 USD per hour based on several factors, including experience and geography. Benefits for this role are not directly provided through DreamBox Learning.
