Does the idea of a fast-paced, supportive, continually evolving, customer-centric environment focused on delivering amazing entertainment excite you?  Do you want to directly impact a franchise that reaches millions of players every month?  Would you like to help us create compelling new experiences for multiple platforms, including mobile, Xbox, and Windows?  Do you seek to create interfaces that are accessible to a variety of users and experience levels?

The 343 Industries Publishing team is looking for a UX Designer to visualize, design, prototype, and implement intuitive user interfaces for the Halo franchise that delight our players and clarify implementation details for our development partners.  As a UX Designer, you will work directly with user researchers, artists, producers, developers, designers, and QA to deliver compelling interfaces for Halo products developed in collaboration with our development partners.

Responsibilities

As part of the 343 Industries Publishing Team you will plan, concept, design, prototype, and iterate on user interface feedback. You will use UX tools, game engine tools, and art packages to prototype content and gather feedback that drives future iterations. You will help shape the user experience from end to end by building the flow of menus, designing interfaces, guiding the user research and survey process, and iterating on player analytics and feedback. You will participate in all aspects of the development cycle, design reviews, build evaluations, and triaging and fixing defects.

You will plan improvements to existing flows and information architectures and recommend ways to expand those interfaces with entirely new features and flows. You will create and oversee UX documentation including wireframes, mock ups, user flows, and style guides that clearly communicate partner deliverables and implementations while maintaining a consistent style across interfaces. Once each interface is live, you will analyze player feedback, analytics data, and player behaviors and continuously improve experiences in future game updates.

The successful candidate must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX design or related fields
