Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Director of Retirement & Wealth Operations will report to the senior leader for SDIRA/Asset operations and will be part of the Retirement & Wealth division within Inspira Financial. They will oversee day to day product support teams who are responsible for multiple functions in support of key Wealth product offerings, including but not limited to; Private Equity Assets, Fund Custody, Private Debt, 1031 Exchanges, Traditional Assets, and Real Estate holding. Product support teams manage end to end client and customer support for their product offerings including service for client calls and e-mail, compliance and regulatory oversight, transactions and account management, purchases and liquidations, cash management, reconciliation, and reporting.
The Director of Retirement & Wealth Operations is responsible for directing and overseeing these critical functions, managing, supporting, and developing managers and team members, coordinating, and streamlining workflows and processes, leading process improvement and automation projects, and contributing to business development opportunities and strategy.

- Direct and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple product offerings
- Review and approve high dollar transactions, exceptions, correspondence, and other work generated by the team
- Develop, lead, and effectively coordinate the performance of multiple teams to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate service delivery to end clients
- Establish and enforce effective policies and procedures to ensure proper internal controls and to maximize accuracy and efficiency
- Address and resolve significant operational issues and develop and communicate solutions to complex problems
- Responsible for developing and executing service and operational strategy supporting Inspira's growth objectives
- Establish and manage the performance of multiple teams using key volume, performance, and efficiency metrics to identify trends and communicate results
- Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and optimize resources; direct others to implement appropriate changes
- Lead all internal and external audit activities
- Foster an environment that promotes high performance and cooperation
- Effectively communicate with Senior Leadership regarding departmental activities and issues
- Other duties as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Ensure teams have sufficient staff with the appropriate skills to meet and maintain Service and Operations KPIs
- Closely monitor teams across multiple functions to ensure client satisfaction is best in class and takes ownership for quickly addressing gaps and or impediments preventing service delivery excellence
- Provides teams with appropriate feedback and provides compelling vision of our work and how it aligns with Inspira's strategic vision
- Selects, develops and holds people leaders accountable for goals and performance
- Collaborates across other Retirement & Wealth functions to align goals and activities
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience working within the financial services industry
- 7+ years leadership experience in financial services
- Bachelor's degree in required. Finance, Accounting, or Business majors preferred
- MBA Preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of investments and investment management process
- Expert in IRAs and applicable IRS code including an understanding of prohibited transactions
- Proven data and analytics capabilities - leveraging data to develop insights to drive action
- Ability to think strategically and manage with abstract and complex matters
- Ability to create appropriate vision for the team
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and anticipate their consequences
- Exceptional management, leadership, change management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, listening and collaboration skills
- Ability to interact effectively, confidently, and credibly with peers and senior team members across the company
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvement and automation
- Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Excel (advanced proficiency), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
