We're looking for an experienced services engineer to join the Creative Tools team in our Business Experiences organization. Our full stack cross-platform team improves content creation on Pinterest and enables partner teams to create beautiful high quality content which resonates with our users. You’ll write new and improve existing services to support every Pin created on Pinterest.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure high availability of Pin creation services for all entry points
• Work with partner teams to integrate their services into the Pin creation pipeline, for example, the feeds ingestion service and Pin quality service
• Design and build services to dynamically optimize Pin creation for our partners
• Work across the Pinterest stack to add new Pin creation and Pin quality features

What we’re looking for:

• Deep understanding of service based architectures particularly with Java and Python
• 5+ years of experience developing backend services
• Deep experience in writing fault tolerant, maintainable, and highly scalable services
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with a diverse array of partners, including product managers and engineers across a variety of platforms
