The Business Systems team supports these functions and builds creative engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have an established background in developing secure and scalable services, strong technical ability, great communication skills and the motivation to deliver results. You will contribute significantly to our overall strategy by helping define, develop and enhance our strategic and planning processes, creating scale and efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on new and emerging technologies, determining how they will integrate into current and evolving infrastructure
  • Help define the team roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
  • Brown bags, tech talks, and evangelizing appropriate tech and engineering best practices

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of software engineering industry experience working in at least one modern object oriented programming language
  • Strong experience designing, building, integrating and working with distributed systems
  • Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP
  • Experience working with databases, relational or NoSQL
  • Excellent listening and communicating skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor, while demonstrating strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and optimize integrated business processes across disparate systems
  • Ability to identify weak spots in complex systems, come up with solutions and advocate for them

Nice to Haves:

  • Hands on experience with one or more of the following integration applications (Informatica Cloud, Alteryx, Matillion, Oracle Data Integrator)
  • Familiarity with Integrating Business Applications like Netsuite, Anaplan, Coupa, Workday, Salesforce, Hive, Mongodb, DynamoDB, etc.
