About the Role

Highspot is looking for an outstanding Chief Security Officer to represent the next generation of Enablement platforms. Through interactive discoveries, you will analyze an organization's needs and demonstrate how Highspot addresses the customer’s security and trust requirements. The ideal candidate will possess an executive presence that will make him or her effective and persuasive in dealing with and building relationships with customers as well as senior management and business executives. He or she will help Highspot build scalable Trust processes to sustain a fast-growing business and will have a proven track record of success in a fast growing, successful technology company. The Chief Security Officer will partner closely with teams across the company including marketing, sales, services, legal, information technology, product, and engineering.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the ongoing definition and execution of the Highspot Trust Strategy
  • Articulate the Highspot Trust Principles of Software as a Service (SaaS) to different internal and external audiences
  • Understand and communicate the Security, Privacy, GDPR, Compliance, Certifications, and Reliability aspects of the Highspot SaaS offering to customers and external stakeholders
  • Communicate governance structures and the technical security architecture of the Highspot solution
  • Build strong partnerships and relationships across internal groups including marketing, sales, services, legal, information technology, product, and engineering
  • Partner with engineering and product to drive security best practices
  • Help build the Highspot security brand with existing and prospective customers
  • Provide ongoing customer feedback to internal teams

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a technology related field
  • At least 10+ years in a hands-on security role with a strong background in security technologies and architecture
  • Deep knowledge of industry security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC II, FedRamp, Sarbanes-Oxley amongst others
  • Software as a Service work experience and knowledge of the delivery model and associated characteristics
  • Comprehensive security background covering encryption technologies, network architectures, communications security, security governance frameworks and risk management
  • Strong experience communicating with the internal security and compliance teams of customers and prospective customers
  • Proven ability to work with and across multiple stakeholders to meet business objectives
  • Strong executive presence with excellent presentation skills

Location

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
