What you get to do in this role:
- Manage, monitor and manipulate the Azure server farm behind ServiceNow’s cloud.
- Work directly on/with the Azure-based servers to enable and optimize capacity utilization for ServiceNow’s customer base.
- Enhance processes and tools necessary to simplify and provide consistent project execution.
- Provide proactive management and innovation to ensure 100% success of ServiceNow cloud automation.
In order to be successful in this role, we’re seeking:
- Experience using the ServiceNow platform
- Basic understanding of CMDB concept (logical representation of the farm)
- Instance topology architecture (APP – DB model)
- Linux SysAdmin skill set with CentOS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other Public Cloud provider technology
- DNS/DHCP understanding
- Storage configuration concepts, configuration, and experience
- Intermediate+ network troubleshooting skills
- Team collaboration and fit is essential
- Understanding of Puppet or other configuration management technology
- Intermediate+ level scripting skills in bash, python, or preferably both
- This position requires the Public Trust Position (PTP) Tier 2 Level suitability If offered employment, you must be willing to complete and successfully pass the adjudication process. Any employment is contingent upon obtaining the required adjudication.
