We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the RoundGlass IT organization, reporting to the Leader of Cloud Engineering and Operations. As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for the assessment, analysis, design and implementation of systems and integrations aimed at increasing the level of security, automation, and observability of all cloud-based systems at RoundGlass.

Our ideal candidate is one who is passionate about iteratively optimizing cloud architectures, reducing toil, and improving the platform for software products.

• Identify and execute automation projects
• Communicate with software engineers about applicable patterns and practices (devops, SRE, performance engineering, platform engineering, and cloud native)
• Work in a scientific way by forming hypothesis; designing validation experiments, and delivering incremental improvements
• Create performance benchmark tests
• Support monitoring and observability
• Design and improve infrastructure

• 3-5 years of experience with AWS and infrastructure as code and delivery automation
• 3-5 years of experience with scripting languages
• 3-5 years of experience administering Linux systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
