As a CloudOps Team Lead, you are responsible for technical oversight of a small team of cloud engineers within the larger Cloud organization. This includes analysis and designing, organizing code reviews, and raising the quality of our DevOps patterns and practices in coordination with enterprise architects. Each team is focused on helping EagleView achieve continuous delivery and supporting developer enablement and cost optimization of our cloud environments. In cooperation with software engineers, machine learning teams, and finance, you will use a scientific methodology to identify programmatic solutions to achieve objectives that will be executed within the SAFe Agile framework. You will have a programming background in Python, containerization with Docker, experience with AWS, and experience with some form of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, etc). You enjoy coaching and training more junior DevOps engineers in a fast-paced environment. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Design and analysis of continuous delivery solutions
• Coaching and supporting engineers in devops patterns and practices
• Automating everything: releases, tests, monitoring, data refreshes
• Working in a scientific way by forming hypotheses, experimentation, and delivering incremental improvements 
• Optimize release cycles and improve the quality of deployments
• Support monitoring and observability
• Inject security and operation validation tests 
• Oversee the work of your team and ensure quality outcomes related to defined KPIs
• Serve as coach and mentor to more junior engineers

• 5-7 years of experience with AWS and infrastructure as code and delivery automation
• 5-7 years of programming experience with Python
• 5-7 years of experience with Docker
• 5-7 years of experience with Linux
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams with different skillsets
• BA or BS in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
