WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In support of Xpanse's production infrastructure, you will:

• Provide ongoing support of the existing enterprise security infrastructure.
• Ensure all facets of the enterprise security systems are available and healthy on a 24/7 basis.
• Respond to alerts and take corrective action to ensure high-availability of our enterprise systems and participate in an afterhours on-call rotation.
• Assist in Setting up and supporting security for the multiple cloud-based SaaS systems.
• Provide input and directly participate in critical technology architecture design decisions that enhance the overall effectiveness and performance of the enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Work in coordination with other internal teams (i.e., developers, product managers) to ensure the systems fully and effectively supports current and planned applications.
• Coordinates, reviews, and implements directives to maintain compliance with regulatory and security industry standards.
• Drives overall cloud security strategy in alignment with both overall Information Security strategy and enterprise cloud strategy
• Develops and maintains relevant cyber risk metrics.
• Develops and maintains security related tools and services including Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, FIM, IDS/IPS, Incident Response, and Network Security.
• Measures, monitors, and reports on information security risks.
• Conducts and reviews investigations on compliance concerns with security software.
• Proactively identifies and develops recommendations to information security and cyber risk issues and vulnerabilities by working with multiple teams including engineering, legal, HR, product development, etc.
• Serves as an advisor and subject matter expert on identified information security and cyber risk issues, projects, or any other company initiative that may have an information security implication.
• Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Lead the identification of threats and appropriate remediation for cloud enterprise systems and production network infrastructure.
• Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Routinely completes risk and gap assessments regarding compliance and overall security and systems operations to recommend and implement changes.
• Respond to and document any security threats, as well as resolving technical faults.
• Identifies current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats
• Manage and coordinates with security vendors as needed

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 5-8 years experience working with cyber security solutions, preferably in a SaaS Cloud based environment.
• You have worked on a team assisting in the creation, building and support of cyber system solutions for all aspects of business operations.
• You have excellent verbal, written, and diagram communication skills.
• You are articulate in communicating concepts and can communicate complex technology solutions to non-technical audiences when necessary.
• You place a premium on customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a thorough understanding of Internet based technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, Email Routing, etc.).
• A platform-agnostic understanding of security platform management, including encryption, secrets, and SSL certificate management.
• In conjunction with a desire to "integrate everything", the perfect candidate has a desire to "document everything".
• Collaborative, team focus with experience working in a 24x7 uptime environment with an on-call component.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience working in Security in with a 100% cloud-based enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Azure AD preferred, but not required.
• Solid understanding of IP network technologies and software tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting, Datadog is a plus.
• Coding experience, particularly in Python or Java. 
• CISSP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline is a plus.
