Job Description

Why is this role important at Infobip? Our new Developer Experience team is creating not only new and innovative ways for developers and startups to integrate and consume Infobip’s technologies, but also to be at the forefront of creating new products and services be Infobip’s or others that can benefit from Infobip’s technologies. 
 
As a Developer Experience Manager, you will be dedicated to forming, creating, and leading a team that will assist in your task running everything a developer comes into contact when working with Infobip; from the documentation to the developer portal, to the SDKs to code examples, you will be in charge of the Experience a developer has with Infobip.

What will you do at Infobip?

  • Responsible for external technical developer experience on our website
  • Oversees the cross-team task forces across the company who are working on everything from the UX and design of the site to the documentation and SDKs 
  • Defines the documentation and organizes it in a way that will make sense to the customers overseeing the Getting Started pages and the general user experience 
  • Builds, leads, coordinates, and organizes high-performing teams 
  • Acts as a critical internal customer: gets his/her hands on our new software, and evaluates how developer-friendly and complete our offerings are. Clearly communicates this to the product teams, and helps them make our products better.
  • Is accountable for the delivery of teams by ensuring a productive work environment and removing impediments 
  • Builds solid professional relationships and rapport with our developer customer base.
  • Is an Infobip representative towards the developer customer base and in the wider developer community.
  • Builds, leads, coordinates, and organizes high-performing teams 
  • Drives recruitment, retention, and scaling plans in coordination with POP, ensuring optimal growth. 
  • Tracks performance and motivation of his members, identifying competency gaps and supporting people growth 
  • Promotes Infobip values and culture 

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an Engineering management position.
  • Passionate about building new products and sharing knowledge with the community.
  • Any experience in leading teams.
  • Wide coding experience in various full-stack web technology stacks (PHP, JavaScript, Java, node.js, python, angular, etc.).
  • Fluent English and experience of speaking to technical audiences on webinars, meetups, conferences, etc. 

Nice to have qualifications:

  • Experience in Dev Rel position. 
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary or similar.
  • Experience in technologies such as Groovy, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes or others.
  • Contribution to open-source projects.
  • Ready to adopt, implement or propose new technologies.
  • Experience in writing blog posts, hosting podcasts, facilitating workshops and seminars.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
