The Job:

 

The DevOps Engineering team at Tango Card is a cross-discipline team that owns the infrastructure and services that make rewards easy to send and awesome to receive. As a member of this team, you will work to mold a dynamic technology base, create automation, and generally do cool things that make our products better and improve our technological capabilities. We send tens of thousands of rewards a day, and each successful one makes someone’s day better, you would be the lynchpin of that happiness!

 

Reports To: Engineering Manager, DevOps

As a DevOps Engineer at Tango Card, you’ll:

  • Work collaboratively with agile feature teams support our applications through the full software lifecycle: Create CI/CD pipelines, deploy and manage AWS infrastructure, setup monitoring, and observability
  • Respond to and troubleshoot Production incidents to keep rewards easy to send and awesome to receive around the clock
  • Build tooling and automation for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks
  • Be an advocate for DevOps philosophies to increase collaboration between teams and deliver features at high velocity

Our DevOps Engineer will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with cloud technologies, docker, and server-less applications
  • Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Previous work with tool development in a fast-paced technology-driven workplace
  • A passion for technology, improving systems and processes, and a desire to fix things.
