Our product runs on AWS, integrating tightly with 3rd party EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and practice management systems such as Cerner and Epic. Due to our market success and the growth we see ahead of us, we need to add another Devops Engineer to the team.

We are offering this unique opportunity to help us build out a modern cloud-based platform which is fostering better health for thousands, and is on track to help millions in the US to lead fuller lives in the decade ahead.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, manage and deploy cloud infrastructure as code on AWS.
  • Own the cluster lifecycle for ECS and Kubernetes clusters EC2 instances, to the troubleshooting and maintenance of the containers/pods and their networking components.
  • Collaborate as an integrated member of a cross functional team, bringing your cloud expertise to the software and system design process. 
  • Champion cloud native design patterns as an AWS subject matter expert, designing all implementations against the AWS Well Architected-Framework.
  • Design, build and maintain network connectivity and VPN solutions between Xealth and our customers. We leverage site-to-site VPN solutions in AWS and you will become familiar with these technologies. Be a point of contact to troubleshoot networking issues with our customers. 
  • Identify inefficiencies and improve processes with solutions that increase integration velocity.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks intelligently

The desired person is expected to have:

Competencies

  • Hands on experiences with AWS, with expert level knowledge of the following services: Codebuild, EC2, ECS, IAM, S3, SQS, VPC
  • Deep understanding and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Kubernetes, CI/CD, Networking, or Cloud Security
  • Hands on experiences writing automation scripts, e.g. shell scripting, Python and NodeJS.
  • Infrastructure automation using Terraform or similar infrastructure as code technologies
  • Container and Container Management including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • AWS Certification 
  • Experiences working in production environments with high standard of compliance requirements, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS
  • Experiences with VPN solutions. Good knowledge of networking, Cisco VPN router configuration, nginx, TLS, HTTPS and network security protocols and other VPN and WAN technologies, such as Checkpoint software
  • Working knowledge of Linux
