Due to our market success and the growth we see ahead of us, we have an opening for a DevOps Lead position, reporting to the CTO. The level of the role will depend on the selected candidate's background, experience and potential impact to Xealth. Responsibilities

• Work across functional teams to develop the strategy, architecture, and participate in the implementation of site reliability engineering (SRE) solutions to achieve high availability, scalability, security and resiliency for our SaaS platform on AWS.
• As the technical lead, participate in the project planning and hands on work to design, implement, manage and deploy cloud infrastructure as code in terraform and Kubernetes CRD.
• Champion cloud native design patterns as an AWS subject matter expert, facilitating the  design implementations against the AWS Well Architected-Framework.
• Grow and manage a highly skilled DevOps team to implement automated solutions to monitor, troubleshoot, secure and maintain our cloud based platform.

The desired person is expected to have:

Competencies

• 5+ Years of hands-on experiences with thorough knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• AWS and/or equivalent Certification
• Proven track record in technical leadership managing site reliability engineering solutions in a commercial cloud based SAAS platform.
• Hands on knowledge and experience with container technology, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Networking, Cloud Security, Terraform, telemetry, system monitoring and alerting solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experiences working in production environments with high standard of compliance requirements, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS

Nice to Have: 

• Experiences with VPN solutions. Good knowledge of networking, Cisco VPN router configuration, nginx, TLS, HTTPS and network security protocols and other VPN and WAN technologies, such as Checkpoint software
• Working knowledge of Linux
