WHAT THIS ENGINEERING TEAM DOES

We stretch the limits of distributed systems and big data processing to solve some of the hardest technical problems and scale challenges. Some of the technologies we use every day include Python, Elixir, Go, Docker, MySQL, Azure, Javascript, HTML, and AWS. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 engineers including fullstack, data, and front end engineers, on all aspects of product development. You will partner with product, data science, and other leaders to build and deliver the roadmap of your team. You will participate in technical design and planning while providing guidance for engineers to ensure they execute well everyday. You will also find time to fill your engineering heart with some coding as an individual contributor. Finally as we are scaling, you will have the opportunity to build and grow the team via hiring and mentoring. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in multiple programming languages
• 5+ years of experience building technically complex software systems
• 2+ years of experience in managing an engineering team
• Experienced working across disciplines in a dynamic environment
• Accomplished technical leader with a track record of delivering results at high speed and quality
