We are looking for an experienced people manager to help build our retailer platform, which enables brick-and-mortar businesses to create a digital presence and connect with their customers.

Our tech stack is composed primarily of Kotlin microservices running in Kubernetes on Azure…but we are more interested in engineering talent that is versatile and has the intellectual curiosity to learn new things and find the best tools to solve our problems.

In this role, you will lead the team that builds services that are fundamental to the Swiftly platform, including identity, loyalty, coupons, shopping list, and search. 

- People manager with a history of technical leadership 

- Experience managing teams of 5-6 senior developers 

- Ability to dive into architecture and code and pitch in when it’s most helpful to the team 

- Expertise with microservices architecture 

- Familiarity with several development methodologies, including agile and waterfall 

- Experience operating production services, including on-call and incident management

- Management experience in small and large organizations
