Experience managing agile software engineering teams is a must. Exposure to Typescript / Node.JS, GraphQL, NoSQL, blockchain, DeFi and/or NFTs is a bonus! • Coaching, supervising, hiring, and developing a team of software engineers
• Establishing and measuring metrics to monitor the team’s delivery quality and tempo
• Facilitating meetings around technical design and task assignment
• Championing sustainable and professional engineering practices
• Improving and documenting team practices such as code reviews, design documents, and automated testing
• Helping software engineers execute architectural improvements guided by the Head of Engineering and product evolution guided by the Product Managers

Who We’re Looking ForMust Haves:

• 1-3 years of demonstrated experience: 
• as a software engineer on an agile team
• managing software development projects and supervising developers

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with:
• Node.JS and/or Typescript 
• EVM blockchain and smart contract 
• Stripe integration or similar
• Experience with two-sided marketplaces
• Experience working in a startup environment

Logistics

We are committed to in-person work in our Ballard neighborhood office in Seattle and request that all employees come into the office a minimum of three days a week.

The expected salary range for this role is between $148,500 and $192,600 depending on experience. We use detailed benchmarking tools to establish salary and equity offers, and everyone at the company is paid in the 60th percentile for their experience and role. For this reason, we’re transparent about what we can pay you, and we don’t negotiate on compensation.
