Job Description

 Join us to help our customers fight the bad guys! With threats to organizations growing and breach notices in the news every day, our market is growing exponentially. We need an experienced Enterprise Solutions Engineer to help fight the good fight and to help us build the processes and culture of a world class Client Services organization.

As a post-sales Enterprise Solutions Engineer at DomainTools, you will have the opportunity to work with the largest companies in the world to implement new and inventive ways to integrate our data within their systems (Threat Intel Platforms, SIEMs, Incident Response Platforms, etc) via our enterprise grade APIs. Also, this position is unique in that you may be helping our customers with their own customization using our data.

We want a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute to the Client Services team and the business, work in a dynamic environment, deliver messaging and feedback back into the product, engineering and integration organizations and work proactively to drive customer experience.

With the Account Manager as the lead, you will provide post-sales technical support, assist in implementations and product trainings. Interfacing directly with our largest customers and prospects, you will be the subject matter expert on implementing DomainTools APIs within security organizations to drive automation of their risk assessment and incident response.

Job Responsibilities

 Effectively communicate DomainTools’ technical architecture, product capabilities and assist in customers’ use and implementation of products and services.

  • Become an expert on Cyber Threat Intelligence and DomainTools’ data, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Share your technical experience and support with the Account Managers, both formally and informally.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering organization about the successes and failures in the field.
  • Ensure excellent service and support to customers by supporting long-term business relationships.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track all pertinent information related to opportunities and accounts.
  • This position is based at our HQ in Seattle with demonstrations conducted virtually.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

 

Key Applicant Qualifications
 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Pre/Post Sales Engineering and/or Consulting capacity.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
  • Experience communicating effectively with software engineers about a product’s technical capabilities, including API endpoints and integration use cases.
  • Integration experience with Splunk, ELK Stack or SIEMs.
  • Experience coding scripts to pull data from RESTful APIs in JSON format.
  • Proven collaborator and liaison with all levels and departments within a technology organization.
  • Fast learner, adept at understanding and articulating new technologies and corresponding value propositions on the fly.
  • Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic. Driven, self-sufficient and able to thrive and adapt to change in a very fast paced environment.
  • Strong, detail oriented organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Insanely Curious. Ability to digest complex technologies and present a vision of what can be accomplished using our tools to our customers.
  • Experience or familiarity in network/cyber security industry would be a plus.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
