We are looking for a designer with web development experience to join the Services Team as a Field Engineer. You will work with customers and with other people on the service team to build custom sales rep experiences in Highspot. It involves designing and building web pages using our SmartPage technology as well as creating custom HTML and CSS as required. These highly customized experiences help guide users through their Highspot solution.

You are someone who enjoys working in a client facing role to bring their ideas to fruition. You are good at conceptual thinking, with expertise in creating a web page design and building it. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with customers to create contextual experiences and to be the liaison between the Services, Sales, and Product teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to gather requirements and understand their needs
  • Design and develop dynamic pages within Highspot that are aligned with their brand identity and that guide users through the system
  • Use the Highspot Smart Page technology together with customized HTML and CSS to deliver on customer needs and specifications
  • Work with the Services team to build business review decks for customers
  • Support and troubleshoot issues related to dynamic pages in Highspot 
  • Collect and deliver product feature enhancements and improvements to the Product team 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends so you can use them to help evolve the product and to deliver on customer needs

Requirements 

  • You are an excellent communicator, with strong written and interpersonal skills for communicating with technical and non-technical customers 
  • Experience using project management tools and bug reporting tools
  • Experience working with clients and manage project timelines and milestones
  • Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite tools and Illustrator
  • Basic working knowledge of backend programming logic in order to work with languages such as PHP on WordPress sites or other CMS systems
  • Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, and JSON
  • Degree in design is preferred but not required

Location

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
