We are looking for a hands-on, technical leader who is a master of web application development and web-UI. In this role, you will mentor a small team of full-stack engineers and set the technical vision for the front end of our new, global innovation platform, “Xinova X”.

Are you interested in building a scalable, human-centric interface? You will work closely with our product design and research team that cares deeply for our users. What you get to do:

• Work with engineering and product leadership to set the technical vision for “Xinova X”
• Lead a small team of engineers
• Create web applications using a variety of web technologies including React and Redux
• Lead future development on iOS and Android operating systems and devices
• Develop a rapidly evolving application framework that knits together seductive user experiences with multiple platform APIs
• Instrument applications to improve responsiveness and understand user behaviors based on user research findings
• Collaborate with the platform team to design, test and debug new platform APIs
• Develop and maintain unit and functional tests to ensure quality and reliability
• Experience iteratively prototyping design concepts and translating them into products or services

What we’re looking for:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (e.g. 5+ years of app development)
• Strong web application architecture skills, with considerations towards: separation of concerns, maintainability, functional programming, immutable state, testability, etc.
• Experience with ReactJS
• Strong foundation in CSS3, HTML5 and Javascript
• Experience with automated unit testing
• Experience designing and developing web APIs
