About the Team:

VIZIO is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, IoT to own the development of our features through the full-release lifecycle. The position is located in Seattle where you will design the development of the IoT infrastructure for SmartCast. You will join a small close-knit, growing team in a fast-paced environment as we grow our brands across the organization.

About You:

• You have 5+ years software development experience.

• Strong experience with Python, Typescript, and Go.

• Experience working with microservices and backend infrastructure. Cloud experience is a plus.

• You are comfortable working with Analytics.

• Exposure to data streaming or audio protocol is a big plus!

What You Will Do:

• You will take ownership of entire IoT infrastructure to delight our customers.

• You will directly impact the SmartTV experience for our customers by incorporating customer feedback in the new features you develop.

• You will design, develop, and architect customer facing applications.

• You will work cross-functionally and experience the mobile development life cycle.
