doxo is disrupting bill pay. We are looking for a high energy Lead Software Engineer with experience building scalable web applications and leading a small team. This is a chance to work closely with product management on a talented team creating exceptional software.
Major Responsibilities
• Create and maintain high-quality software while meeting deadlines.
• Work closely with product management on the definition of software requirements.
• Make selected new technologies available for use in the creation of software.
• Participate in the creation of internal and external documentation supporting the software.
Skills and Qualifications
• Prior experience leading a small engineering team
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Experience with high scale, distributed, 24x7 systems and applications
• Fluency with Ruby or similar programming language
• 3+ years of experience with SQL in a transactional application
• Experience with Linux platforms
• Strong analytical and design skills
• Capacity for learning quickly in a fast paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong written and oral communication skills
Education
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering
