Job Description
- Lead an engineering function within our cloud assurance program.
- Utilize a combination of engineering, security, and privacy skills to asses ServiceNow's cloud assurance controls posture.
- Lead team focused on assessing security architectures against compliance with cloud certifications, as well as ServiceNow internal policies and procedures.
- Provide insight on feature requests and bug fixes to product, infrastructure, risk, and remediation engineering teams.
- Successfully project manage and drive control design and testing activities across various teams within the organization and for existing / new system infrastructures and architectures.
- Help team members build their careers in a fast pace industry of security and compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years working in the field of security engineering and/or security compliance project management.
- Experience performing compliance and/or security engineering, including by not limited to building automated solutions for audits, performing technical assessments of cloud security controls, automating evidence collection, etc.
- Deep understanding or aptitude to learn common certifications and attestations, including but not limited to, FedRAMP, MTCS, C5, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC2, HITRUST, ISMAP, and CCAG
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Ability to understand the intent of cloud assurance requirements to provide effective and meaningful analysis
- Experience successfully working with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, draft control narratives, identify limitations, and engineer new solutions for cloud security controls challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Be able to work effectively with other members of our organization to drive results, to include remote teams.
- Preferred qualifications (but not required):
- Possession of at least one cloud certifications, Microsoft Certified: Azure, AWS certified, or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Prior Experience with GRC systems

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.
Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
