Smartsheet is seeking a Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer with a high bar for quality, excellent black box testing skills, and focuses on the details that make great software, to join our highly efficient, results oriented Android and iOS apps team. At heart, you are a hands-on tester who enjoys and eagerly takes on new challenges, values a great customer experience, and works well in a collaborative interactive team environment.
This position will report to the Senior Mobile Quality Assurance Manager is based at our headquarters in Bellevue, WA.
Job Responsibilities:

• Black box testing of our Android and iOS mobile apps
• Quickly learn and develop expertise in the core Smartsheet product, mobile app, and assigned test areas
• Plan, write and update relevant QA documentation
• Create clear, concise, and accurate QA documentation and defect reports
• Work closely with development, product managers, UI/UX designers in a highly collaborative team environment
• Be an advocate for our customers

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software test experience
• 2+ years of testing Google Play Store or Apple App Store mobile apps
• Strong UI functional testing skills and experience testing Android or iOS apps on phones and tablets
• BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
• Enthusiasm to dig into technical features, issues and specifications
• Experience using spreadsheet and project management applications a plus
• Familiarity with Android and iOS platform tools utilities is a plus
• Experience with RESTful APIs a plus
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
