About the Group

Security & trust are key elements for LivePerson, in delivering its cloud-based platform to millions of users. The Security team is responsible for development and implementation of controls for protecting LivePerson assets, meeting strict customer requirements and international security standards as well as proactively developing risk mitigation programs.

Job Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Information Security professional, to help drive organization wide security processes such as Architecture design, Risk Assessment, Mitigation Planning, Compliance with security standards, Audits and Customer Security operations.


In this role you will:

  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
  • Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
  • Develop and evangelize the Trust & Security Reference Architectures across the corporate and production environments
  • Partner, coach, and act as the product owner to lead IT, development and business teams from planning through deployment & execution of security-related technologies
  • Architect global programs that deploy strong security patterns and controls across applications and computing environments, while addressing security, business resiliency, privacy and compliance frameworks
  • Help defining and leading the strategy and roadmap to remediate existing technologies against a standard auditable set of security controls
  • Define and manage KPIs and other measurements to indicate the health of security-related programs
  • Champion security, privacy and data protection best practices 
  • Assist in maintaining strong oversight with cloud computing vendors and so Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
  • Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; Including cloud and hybrid solutions. 
  • Analyzes trends and changes in threat and compliance environment with respect to organizational risk; advises organization management and develops and executes plans for compliance and mitigation of risk; performs risk and compliance self-assessments, and engages and coordinates third-party risk and compliance assessments
  • Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  •  Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Perform internal & external security audits 
  • Support customers security assessments and audits, Legal agreements reviews and custom solutions design and approval.


Your qualifications are:

  • Proven skills in public and hybrid cloud security.
  • 8+ years of experience in security Governance, Risk and Compliance or a similar position 
  • 8+ years of experience in auditing, reviewing and designing security solutions.
  • Proven experience with compliance management (ISO, PCI-DSS, SOC2, HIPAA) 
  • Hands-on experience with Security Risk Management and mitigation planning 
  • Experience in working with customers and 3rd parties 
  • Vast knowledge of network and security tools
  • Experience in application security - an advantage
  • True passion for Security: familiar with security vulnerabilities, trends, tools and practices.

  • Travel occasionally 
  • May require off hours availability and on-call dut
