As a Production Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing test plans and strategies for the entire production line. You will interact regularly with the electrical, antenna, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to develop the tests necessary to ensure a well-built product. You will be responsible for developing test methods, automating tests, data analysis, and ensuring the product is on time, on quality, and on cost. 

Responsibilities:

 

•Develop engineering and design validation test solutions for our high-volume millimeter wave product.

•Write automation software in Python to interact with units under test, test equipment, instrumentation, and documentation systems.

•Root cause test failures to ensure issues are fully understood and to provide design recommendations for the product to increase reliability and yield.

•Partner with electrical, antenna, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

Required Qualifications: 

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar degree with a minimum of 5+ years relevant experience 

•Proficient with RF Test equipment (Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzers etc.) and measurement techniques

•Strong background in programming languages (Python, C#) 

•4+ years of test automation experience

•Experience analyzing electrical schematics to develop test plans, improve test coverage, and root cause issues.

•Debugging and troubleshooting skills, ability to isolate issues in complex scenarios

•Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role.

•Ability to support test station setup, troubleshooting, maintenance and calibration

•Process, verify, and analyze measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports from the findings.

•Capability to deal with ambiguity and define test plans from variables.

•Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding startup atmosphere.

•Travel up to 20% of the time

Desirable Experience:

•Knowledge of Far/Near Field antenna measurements.

•Familiarity with Windows, several programming languages, data manipulation, and general problem solving.

•Familiarity with RF & microwave circuit design a huge plus. 

•Experience on embedded devices development.

•Professional experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging RF electronics (WiFi routers, Bluetooth, phased arrays, modems, etc.).
