About the Role

The Esper team is looking for a Program Manager; Atlassian to bring agile expertise in developing, maintaining, and supporting Atlassian tooling such as Jira and Confluence.


Why This Role is Unique

As a Program Manager; Atlassian at Esper you will help enhance usability, enable self-service, increase automation to improve efficiency, and expand the collaboration ecosystem. You will also have a focus on Atlassian security. You will help scale these applications to support the company’s future growth.



You’ll Have Ownership of:

  • Supporting integrations with other tooling and plugins
  • Managing user licensing, groups, and roles.
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales to administer and configure projects based on usage and needs.
  • Providing guidance on how to optimize Atlassian to promote ideal scrum practices through the use of dashboards, gadgets, filters, fix versions, components, etc.
  • Educating and training Esper employees to promote self-enablement

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • Certification and/or 1+ year of hands on experience with Atlassian products
  • 1-2 years experience creating, managing, and maturing the usage of Atlassian products
  • 1-2 years experience with the Agile software development lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge when it comes to configuring and troubleshooting Atlassian products
  • Experience using and extending REST Services provided by Atlassian
