The Seattle office is a fast paced, highly collaborative start up like environment that primarily focus on the SmartCast product line. You will own various components of the SmartCast platform customer experience. This position requires a passion to push the envelope and to innovate new solutions that are ahead of the industry.
You will be responsible for testing user experiences on TV, mobile, and tablets through manual and automated test procedures. The Seattle office is a fast paced, highly collaborative start up like environment that primarily focus on the SmartCast product line. Understanding command line and command line tools will be critical to day to day work.
This position is contract to hire, and has multiple avenues for growth and a chance to own major pieces of infrastructure within our ecosystem. Building, debugging, and teaching development operations is a critical piece to our diverse range of products and setup. Understanding standard practices for testing lifecycle and commonalities/differences across iOS and Android is also another critical area.
You will be expected to collaborate with designers, product managers, program managers, fellow team members, and vendors. You are self-driven and pragmatic, with an ability to execute in an agile environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute Manual Test Plans
- Execute/Support Automated Test Plans
- Support Development Operations for Mobile Infrastructure
- Write unit tests to cover all requirements/functionality.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certificate or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Work well in teams, respecting and welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience with Software Testing
- Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery
- Experience with Python, Kotlin, Java, Swift, and/or Objective C a plus
- Experience with Test Automation
- Experience with REST API's
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Voice (Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant) a plus
- Experience with Mobile Applications a plus
