Quality Control Manager

Seattle, Washington

Peach has a unique and compelling business model where both the customer and the restaurant win; by capitalizing on the availability and talent of local restaurants, we bring locally produced, high quality meals to our customers. 

Peach is looking for a Quality Control Manager in Seattle who is eager to work with restaurants and manage their success. The ideal candidate will love food and be data driven. As a key member of the restaurant team, your work will directly impact Peach’s offering and ensure food quality. You will use data in your decision-making but keep your strong food knowledge close at hand. This position will report to our Senior Manager Food.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, run, and manage the Quality program at Peach.
  • Educates and trains partners on the Peach’s food expectations.
  • Analyzes reviews to eliminate bad food dishes and identify and capitalize on trends.
  • Ensures food quality through all of Peach’s markets.
  • Resolves food safety and quality issues.
  • Collaborates across the organization to ensure food safety is continuously improved upon.
  • Analyzes food safety metrics, data, customer feedback, and regulatory input. 
  • Develops and revises standard operating procedures and compliance documents.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Data-Driven, and understanding of modern analytics tools including basic SQL. 
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in development and implementation of food quality programs and regulations
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP Principles, FDA, USDA, CFIA regulations and applicable food codes for foodservice operations is preferred. Hungry (no pun intended), with strong food and restaurant knowledge
  • Hard-working and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • College degree is a must.
