Job Introduction:
Global Finance Technology organization is looking for a motivated individual looking to join the IFRS17 SAP configuration team. The candidate will apply their talent in an agile environment that has the creative energy of a start-up-and the full backing and comprehensive benefits of a Fortune 100 company.
This role will provide the opportunity to sharpen your technical, analytical and business skills. You will play an active role throughout the project lifecycle (e.g. solution analysis and development, programming, configuration, testing) while working on the technology implementation projects to expand our current SAP footprint worldwide with S/4HANA Finance, HANA Views, Fiori, and Business Objects Analysis for Office.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to partner directly with regional leadership, product owners and decision makers to implement and enhance multiple in-flight SAP programs. You will grow by driving adoption of leading analytics and reporting practices, and ensuring our SAP tools are well designed, and meet our business needs.
About the job:

  • Configures modules according to defined design specs & demonstrates a highly proficient understanding of transactions and major configuration options for a business process.
  • Documents architecture development and standards.
  • Identifies design elements of new business processes and package application design within a single business process.
  • Identifies designs for functional and technical requirements (e.g., gap analysis, infrastructure, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and/or conversions).
  • Identifies process improvements that address complex functional and package technology gaps within a single business process.
  • Analyzes and prepares complex technology enabled recommendations to address gaps within a single business process.
  • Develops complex test scripts and assists coordinating test transactional data creation.
  • Identifies and researches complex testing defects.
  • Uses testing tools successfully for components within a single module or business process within a mixed team.
  • Supports pieces of the implementation process such as post implementation support, cutover plans, and transition planning.

Qualifications
Desired Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications relating to Finance and Accounting.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Software Engineering or Configuration experience
  • Experience with Cloud based implementations of SAP HANA a strong plus.
  • Problem solving, trouble-shooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical skills including understanding of software development and configuration principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-taught and ability to learn quickly.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Working skills of Microsoft applications of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Functional business knowledge of Finance (e.g., general accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash management, etc.).
