The Advanced Technology Group (ATG) at ServiceNow is a customer-focused innovation group building intelligent software and smart user experiences using existing and latest advanced technologies to enable end-to-end, industry-leading work experiences for customers. We are a group of researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and product managers with a dual mission. We build and evolve the AI platform, and partner with teams to build products and end-to-end AI-powered work experiences. In equal measure, we lay the foundations, research, experiment, and de-risk AI technologies that unlock new work experiences in the future. Team

The Research Group carries out fundamental research to push the limits of what AI can do for enterprises. In turn, those learnings are passed along to the rest of the ATG through our innovation pipeline. In this role, you will be part of the research transfer team within the ServiceNow Advanced Technology Group. This team’s objective is to promote the research breakthroughs from the Research Group by equipping developers and scientists across the organization with new capabilities. In essence, it validates that those state-of-the-art technologies are relevant and scalable to meet the most challenging needs of ServiceNow’s customers.

Role

You will do research development, which means that you will contribute to technology transfer initiatives within our AI Research Transfer team. Our team works on diverse AI-related technologies like multi-GPU, multi-node training and inference of machine learning models, fast prototyping of emerging AI technologies, full-stack proof of concept. You will thrive in this position by being able to quickly understand and communicate how to best test novel ideas quickly within ServiceNow’s infrastructure.

Qualifications to be successful in this role you have:

5+ years of experience in development, and maintenance of AI or data software. · A proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment; · A “getting things done” mindset.

  • Familiarity with PyTorch’s (and to a lesser extent, Tensorflow’s) toolchain.
  • Experience in the development of AI prototypes and the ability to quickly validate whether a certain avenue is worth pursuing.
  • Proficiency in understanding research-code (often living in notebooks) and turning it into an ergonomic library or service.
  • Experience with Docker and its relevance for high-performance computing and networking.
  • Experience using CUDA, nvprof, and other low-level tools to optimize the usage of compute resources is an asset.

L’objectif de cet équipe est de valoriser les percées du Groupe de Recherche en les rendant disponibles pour le reste des scientifiques et des développeurs de l’organisation. Son rôle est donc de s'assurer que ces nouvelles technologies sont utiles et capables de rencontrer les exigences les plus complexes des clients de ServiceNow.

Le rôle

Vous travaillerez à faire du développement de recherche, ce qui veut dire que vous contribuerez aux initiatives de transfert technologique au sein de l’Équipe de Transfert de la Recherche en IA. Notre équipe travaille sur diverses technologies liés à l’IA comme l’entrainement de modèles en parallèle sur de multiples cartes graphiques situées sur plusieurs noeuds de calcul, le prototypage rapide de technologies d’IA émergentes et de production de démo “full-stack”. Vous vous épanouirez dans ce poste en arrivant à rapidement comprendre et communiquer les enjeux entourant la validation rapide d’idées nouvelles sur l’infrastructure de ServiceNow.
