Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to develop complex user interfaces for trading and registry interactions, setting technical direction for front-end architecture, and future-proofing our front-end stack. 

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, support, and improve existing applications and systems

- Design solutions to address functionality, usability, maintainability, scalability, and optimized performance

- Transform complex business requirements into functional software with a UX focus

- Create front-end code that simplifies testing automation

- Help foster strong team culture and cultivate innovation

- Write meaningful technical tests and understand the value of great logging, proper monitoring, and error tracking

- Work cross-departmentally to improve software quality and performance

- Collaborate with other software engineers, product managers, delivery managers, and other stakeholders across the organization.

Skills and Qualifications

- 5+ years experience building production-grade systems using modern front-end tooling and libraries

- Automated UX testing suite experience 

- Expertise in modern Javascript and frameworks (e.g. ES6, TypeScript, React).

- Proven track record of building and deploying your code

- Comfort in executing your code from inception to production 

Preferred Qualifications

- API design and best practices experience 

- 2+ years working with React and Typescript 

- A portfolio that demonstrates user experiences in a financial, regulatory, or other high-stakes environment
