Your Role and Impact

In this role, you will build web applications using a modern TypeScript stack based on React and Redux. You will work with a team of engineers focused on rapid feature development, correctness, stability and continual improvement. You will be at the forefront of software design, bridging service engineering and front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Working on a small feature team that builds and supports web apps for our clinic
• Contribute to and help influence the direction of our web app architecture by working across teams to ensure we’re building the right things the right way
• Collaborate with our product and design team members throughout our development life cycle, from ideation to execution
• Active participation in code and design reviews to ensure we’re meeting product and platform quality standards
• Provide mentorship across the engineering organization

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience 
• Experience supporting a feature through the full life cycle—from gathering requirements all the way to production
• Experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and at least one modern Javascript framework like React, Vue or Angular
• Successful experience working with and mentoring junior engineers
• Experience with writing unit and integration tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ES6 and functional programming
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation services, such as Jenkins
• Experience with AWS services, such as Lambda and DynamoDB
