OpenSpace is on a mission to bring new levels of transparency and tracking to construction. Our solutions combine simple off-the-shelf 360-degree cameras, computer vision, and AI to make it incredibly easy to capture a complete visual record of the job site, share it via the cloud with remote teams, and process insights. To date, our customers have used our platform to capture over a billion square feet of active construction projects, across thousands of sites, in dozens of countries. 

OpenSpace was founded in 2017 by experienced entrepreneurs and engineers with several successful exits under their belts and is based in San Francisco. We are rapidly growing and well-funded with a team that combines people with deep, first-hand experience in construction with the best AI PhDs and Engineers out there.

This position is remote.

In this role you will:

• Build powerful web applications and enhance them for maximum speed and scalability
• Work with a small team of extraordinary Engineers 
• Contribute to technical architecture for our new products and enhancements to current products.
• Collaborate closely with other software engineers, QA, product managers, and designers
• Help other engineers on the team via mentorship and code reviews
• Prioritize progress over perfection and see projects through to completion
• Contribute to building something cutting edge that is changing the construction industry
• Work with modern web technologies (our stack is React, Redux, JSS)

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with JavaScript 
• Strong experience with React
• Experience with CSS and web design conventions
• Experience with translating design into a working web application

Bonus Points for 

• Rapid paced startup experience
• Experience with WebGL, GLSL, three.js,, 2D/3D math
• Java or Kotlin
