The Team You’ll Work With
Our Frontend Architecture team is building out Carta’s frontend platform to enable teams to develop consistent, resilient and scalable frontend applications. We are simplifying developer workflows to allow them to focus on product features and ship these features with confidence. We are responsible for the global and common components of Carta’s suite of products. We create reusable frontend libraries, application shells and infrastructure to easily develop and test frontend applications.
This team has an impact on products across all of Carta.
The Problems You’ll Solve
As part of this team, you will work on:
- Global components like app shell, header, sidebar, analytics tracking and many other
- Internationalization tooling
- Frontend build tools and common configurations
- Developer tooling like project generators, deployment pipelines and tools to simplify development in our monorepo
- NodeJS common tooling and deployment process
About You
You have experience in large scale application development with a focus on frontend development, as well as an interest to work on the systems side. You are always thinking about the full system and how all parts work and integrate with each other.
- You’ve built frontend platforms that enable product consistency and ease feature development
- You’ve built both client code and BFF (backend for frontend code)
- You are careful about edge cases and fail scenarios
- You have experience with frontend technologies (React and NodeJS preferred) and build tools (webpack, ESBuild, RollupJS, Vite)
- You have experience with CI/CD pipelines as they relate to frontend testing and deployments (Jenkins/Github Actions/CircleCI )
- You have experience with end-to-end testing strategies and technologies like Cypress (prefered) and Selenium / Web driver
- Nice to have: GraphQL experience
