About the Position

At Qumulo we are data-driven and experimental. Data isn’t just what we do — it’s at the core of every decision we make. We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Sr. Mulesoft Developer to join our Business Systems team.  The Sr. Mulesoft Developer will lead the implementation of MuleSoft’s AnyPoint platform to automate workflows and ensure data consistency across multiple systems to extract more value and efficiency from current systems. Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the Mulesoft Anypoint platform.
  • Develop APIs using Mulesoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave and Anypoint MQ
  • Translate business requirements into well‐architected solutions that best leverage the Mulesoft platform.
  • Mentor other team members on Mulesoft development technologies, tools and processes
  • Build a maintainable Application network with clear architecture diagrams and documentation that can be easily understood by others
  • Assist with development of company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability (internal IT, vendors, cross-department)
  • Test and improve performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage.
  • Monitor  application performance and identify potential bottlenecks in the holistic solution (and recommend fixes) 
  • Respond to internal customers who are using the custom workflows you’ve built and provide support, as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years Mulesoft development experience with at least one active Mulesoft Developer Certification.
  • Experience designing and implementing custom Mule connectors leveraging the Mulesoft Java SDK for IaaS,  SaaS, and API enabled infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Experience with implementing Oauth 2.0 connections and Oauth enabled APIs.
  • Experience with Mulesoft’s Anypoint Cloud platform and related best practices for API Manager, Monitoring and Analytics, and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in creating RAML and SWAGGER based API contracts, defining SLAs and implementing mocking services.
  • Experience with cloud hosted SQL and NoSQL Database as Service such as Google Cloud SQL, BigTable, Rabbit DB, or similar. 
  • Experience integrating Salesforce, NetSuite, Zendesk, Tableau, Slack, and Auth0 highly preferred.
  • Experience with cloud marketplace reporting APIs, particularly in AWS, GCP, and Azure is highly preferred.
  • Comfort with or interest in agile development process and test driven development
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent industry experience
