About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with an expertise in test automation. You will help ensure the satisfaction of our users by demonstrating that existing and new products meet the highest standards of security, reliability, performance, and user-friendliness. Your job duties will encompass building automation tooling, maintaining and enhancing the test automation framework, optimizing test automation throughout the continuous integration pipeline and helping with manual testing. Responsibilities

• Help design and implement an end-to-end test strategy and automation framework for Routable
• Develop a deep, holistic understanding of the Routable platform
• Write, execute, and update the test suite
• Help evaluate and select tools and systems to provide comprehensive test coverage
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation framework into Routable’s CI/CD
• Work with engineering teams during the development cycle to establish proper test coverage
• Reproduce bugs reported and demo them to engineering teams
• Organize and keep detailed notes of all SW, HW and FW versions
• Verify new FW build functionality and quality before releasing it to the engineering teams
• Collaborate with engineering teams to assess risk and develop test strategies around new features

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• A passion for understanding how things work
• Extreme sense of ownership
• Self-driven and can work with limited direction
• 3+ years experience in QA automation
• Demonstrable ability in writing software in Python/JavaScript (or similar language)
• Experience using automated testing tools, like TestCafe, Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Appium, XCTest
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Delivery of high quality and effective solutions while balancing deadlines

Location

You must be currently authorized to work in the United States or Canada on a full-time basis.

To help foster amazing relationships with our coworkers, we meet up twice a year as a whole team in some pretty awesome cities! In the past we’ve met up in San Diego, Seattle, and Austin. We’d rather invest money into memorable team events rather than expensive offices. During our meet-up team time, we love to spend time learning a new skill together, and solving problems. Most recently this has taken on the form of a bread-making class and defeating an Escape Room. Yeah.. We love to compete together as a team.
