You: You are a motivated and passionate Developer/Architect for the Salesforce CRM platform. You possess the experience to empower your customers’ success beyond short-term gains through innovative design and development of new solutions. You are intrigued by the unique challenges presented by business problems that cross functional boundaries and integrate multiple technology stacks. You are familiar with traditional software development methodologies but also completely comfortable in contemporary Agile models.

What we want you to do:

  • Lead Salesforce workgroups with representation from business functions to ensure compliance, reduce costs, expedite delivery, enable innovation and agility, manage prioritization, and foster collaboration among business units
  • Integrate Salesforce with external Enterprise systems such as Jira, SharePoint, NetSuite/OneWorld, and OpenAir, leveraging Dell Boomi and, as necessary, other tools, as well as custom development
  • Contribute and support processes around data quality using best practices to maximize efficiency and stability of the platform
  • Develop, refine, and automate solutions with Apex and Visualforce. Create workflows, reports, dashboards, and custom Salesforce objects. Optimize system performance. Generate and maintain CRM system documentation.
  • Provide day to day Tier 2 end user support (including complex formulas and system maintenance) and assist users to troubleshoot issues and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience configuring and developing Salesforce applications utilizing workflows, e-mail alerts, custom objects and fields, and page layouts and record types
  • Experience managing and configuring Salesforce Communities
  • Experience designing distributed enterprise integrations to and from Salesforce
  • Experience building complex Process models (e.g. UML) and Database Schema (e.g. Microsoft T-SQL)
  • Experience with Agile methodology e.g. Scrum or Kanban

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification with an additional 2+ year’s experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience with the AppExchange applications e.g. Gainsight, Salesforce CPQ and Service Cloud
  • Additional certifications: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce.com Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture & Management Designer, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
  • Experience setting up a Salesforce Center-Of-Excellence or other established best-practice methods
  • 3+ years of experience building, testing, deploying Salesforce CRM packages using Visualforce, APEX, CSS, HTML5
  • Experience developing Salesforce Lightning components
  • 2+ years of experience with web development technologies, such as HTML5, CSS, and Javascript
  • 2+ years .Net C#, Java, or Groovy development
