About the Role


The Highspot Security team is looking to add a Manager or Senior Manager to our existing Corporate Security team. This person will improve our overall corporate security posture by leading their team in a hands-on way. They will join the team to execute some of the currently in-flight CorpSec projects, but will quickly move to identify, own, and execute new future CorpSec projects that will meaningfully reduce risk.


Their responsibilities will be focused on SaaS security, endpoint security, identity and access management, physical, and more. If you’re interested in joining a team of security experts to protect a rapidly growing organization this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Highspot is a pre-IPO startup looking to aggressively grow our company size and industry footprint. We are looking for seasoned security pros to test our organization for flaws while implementing organizational and infrastructural mitigations across boundaries. In this role, you will collaborate with IT, DevOps, and other partner teams to improve security and detection while maintaining usability and our core company values.

What You'll Do

  • You will support and lead a team while also being responsible for determining strategy in reducing Corporate Security risk for Highspot.
  • Advising on endpoint configuration, hardening, and operation for our corporate laptops, tablets, and phones in partnership with Corporate IT
  • Infrastructure vulnerability scanning and driving remediation for our corporate networks and infrastructure
  • Drive additional hardening of SaaS and IaaS vendors
  • Review integrations, connections, apps, and configurations to keep all of our employees and data secureAdditional risk-based vendor security review for high-risk vendors and integrations
  • Partner with IT to improve our corporate authentication and identity management system. Identify risks and misconfigurations in the same
  • Drive better credential and secret management through existing or new enterprise secret management system
  • Improve Phishing resiliency of all employees to prevent risks from malware and targeted attacks
  • Assist with driving additional SIEM integrations across corporate infrastructure and collaborate with partners inside and outside security to improve detection and alerting
  • Hardening and configuration review of physical infrastructure like networks, badge readers, phones and printers, etc.
  • Advanced training and hardening for high risk and targeted employees

Your Background

  • Experience as a lead or manager, and people-focused view on how to accomplish goals and outcomes and track record of driving successful outcomes
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and communication skills, with the ability to engage with partners and stakeholders with a variety of perspectives and technical understanding
  • Broad experience with platform, SaaS, and network infrastructure hardening and configuration
  • Love to learn new tools, technologies, attack scenarios
  • Able to anticipate potential threats and issues from enterprise architecture and configurations
  • Able to prioritize among competing interests and focus on highest value work
  • Able to write tools in a language of your choosing
  • Understand the “why” of vulnerabilities and clearly articulate impact and risk to others

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
