About the Role:

As a member of Remitly's internal tooling team you will build new tooling for a variety of other teams. You will integrate and automate functions between Finance, HR, IT, and our in-house developed systems. Your supreme goal will be to provide all Remitly employees with a wonderful technology experience. You will also provide training for IT and other teams and be on the escalation path for important corporate systems. You report to the Engineering Manager for Infrastructure and Corporate Systems, and you work with many other teams, but especially Security, Infrastructure, and the Developer Experience teams.

You will:

• Build internal tools that reduce toil and improve security for important corporate functions like Finance, HR, and Legal.
• You will on a daily basis collaborate with internal users and third-party vendors, and work with all kinds of partners.
• You will integrate with apps like Okta, G Suite, Slack, AWS, Jira, and NetSuite - just to mention a few.
• Train technical and non-technical team members on the administration and use of internal tools.
• Provide excellent support for internal customers and communicate with vendors when escalating issues.

You will have:

• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of software developer experience.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language is required (Go, Python, or JavaScript.)
• A passion for learning new technologies and systems.
