InSpec enables you to turn your compliance and security policies into automated tests. As a member of the InSpec team you will be building the software that revolutionizes the relationship between security teams and their companies. You will be developing primarily in Ruby, but Chef's platform has other products written in Erlang, Rust, and Go as well. ElasticSearch and PostgreSQL are common in our stacks. Our web interface is written in Angular. We use Chef and Habitat for build automation, testing, and deployment.

Who you are:

• You like to dive in, learn new things, and want to build awesome products.
• You know more than one programming language.
• You are comfortable using command line tools for Linux system administration.
• You can demonstrate deep knowledge for some language or technology stack that you've worked.
• You are passionate about creating remarkable products.
• You are comfortable with but not dogmatic about using development methodologies such as TDD, Agile, and pairing.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.
• You are interested in systems security; bonus points for experience working in this area.
