We're looking for experienced, passionate, driven software developers who can help us build scalable and reliable cloud computing solutions to support the rapid growth of our SaaS products. As a Software Development Engineer, you will work on solving tough technical challenges in a high energy, startup like environment with experienced industry leaders and with a highly collaborative team. You will design, implement, test and deploy scalable cloud computing solutions as part of the Automation Core team.
The Automation Core team is the backbone for ITOM-Services Lifecycle automation. The team has unique challenges of building and managing a pristine Service-Aware CMDB, Service Modeling, and Service Analytics. Our software solutions allows IT to effectively manage Infrastructure Assets, Business Services lifecycle, reduce costs, and improve operational performance and efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object oriented design and design patterns · Strong problem-solving, debugging skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies · 2+ years of experience developing scalable and distributed systems with either C++/C#/Java and experience with a scripting language JavaScript/Python/Ruby/PHP/ Perl in a UNIX or Windows environment · Proficiency in web technologies such as HTTP, REST/SOAP, AJAX · BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field
Desirable
Experience with Python, with emphasis on writing modular, scalable server-side components, knowledge of web development frameworks such as Django or Flask · Experience working with OO JavaScript libraries such as Node.js, jQuery, Prototype · Experience with MySQL: replication, MyISAM/InnoDB storage engines
