The world’s leading game engine is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop the greatest and largest computer gaming cloud infrastructure. You will be part of a team creating internal and external services and service to service integrations, including monitoring systems and tools that will scale across the company. With a commitment to your customers, you will use your outstanding development skills to deliver compelling solutions in an incremental, lean, and self-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and review software solutions for critical parts of our software ecosystem
• Own all aspects of software development from design to code reviews to deployment, with a focus on operational excellence
• Through proper planning and delivery, work collaboratively within your scrum team to deliver the best cloud experience to our customers
• Build a scalable monitoring solution that may be deployed across internal and external teams

Requirements

• Experience developing backend systems and APIs
• Expert-level OOD/OOP software engineering experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge through professional experience
• Appreciation for incremental delivery and experience in Agile development
• Experience with one of the following and an openness to learning new languages (such as: Go, Java, Node.js, Python, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Be able to design, develop, test, and optimize large scale web applications

Bonus points

• Experience with virtualization technologies (Docker, hypervisor, etc.) and resource schedulers (Kubernetes)
• Experience with Salt, Terraform, or other Hashicorp tools
• Understanding of Google Cloud Platform
• Familiar with test driven development
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring systems
