• Uphold our engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter
• Collect requirements, develop technical strategy, and build the products and services that power Carta's valuations teams!

Qualifications

• 5+ years Full stack or back-end engineering experience, with strong systems fundamentals
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React or Angular.js
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable regularly working in team environments
• Experience architecting complex SaaS products
• Experience working with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and build thoughtful solutions

Nice-to-Haves

• Willingness to learn financial algorithms (no prior experience in Finance required!)
• Exposure to service oriented architecture (SOA)
• Growth mindset
